• Mammography

XtraSens Ltd. has adopted its algorithms for Medical Imaging application. A prototype version of the software is available for gray level enhancement typical for X-Ray, Computational Axial Tomography (CAT) or Magnetic Nuclear Resonance images.

First test are done with images from mammography screening, the software is being evaluated for the detection of very dense tissue typical of carcinogen areas.

The technology helps identify and visualize breast cancer tissues in mammography images at an earlier stage and better accuracy. More work is required to verify the findings with medical professionals and run a blind study over a significant number of images to substantiate the claim.
